The town of Trona provides all services. To access Trona from the Wilderness you will need a map and 4-wheel drive. Trona is located southwest of Manly Peak 16 miles on the other side of Slate Valley. (Notice that there is no Public Access into the China Lake Naval Weapons Center Range, don't try reaching Trona by heading south on the first south bound dirt road from the Wilderness).
